A list of problems that i have during using MercuryDPM
1.I could not use a VTK-Writer Command at Beginning,which serve for Visualization of Particles && Walls.
Solved:Please use Trunk Version not released Version
PS:Note If you want to reinstall your Trunk Version please first delete the older version totally!
2.Data corrupted short time after particle-wall collision
Solved:Maybe change the time step size
normally:collision time/50 (tc/50)
3.Overlapping of particles,fail to define species between particles
Once i defined specie for particles and walls individually and a mixed species(I remenber that i saw this code type in a tutorial of multi-specie problem.I have the term “specie” misunderstood.
Solved:Just define one specie for both wall-particle
PS:In species, Density,Stiffness,Dissipation etc. are defined, Stiffness and Dissipation describe an interaction(collision property).We dont need specify property of walls,because we just focus on particles.)
